As a service to the community, some radio stations serving the area have agreed to broadcast emergency messages concerning the closing of schools. Their policy is to broadcast only an "abnormal situation" and they will transmit the message in a few minutes following a call from The Lester B. Pearson School Board authorities.
If Greendale or The Lester B. Pearson School Board is not mentioned on the air, you must assume that everything is normal. Please refrain from calling the station.
The following stations will keep you informed: CBM, 940 NEWS, CJAD/CJFM, CKGM/CHOM. Broadcasting times are between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Lester B. Pearson School Board will also make an announcement on the front page of their website www.lbpsb.qc.ca
